Ok i'll get started wif red blood cells. Why are they red? It's mainly bcos they contain the bright red protein called haemoglobin which carries oxygen around your body and removes waste. Jus a single drop of blood contains up to millions of red blood cells, imagine tat! However these cells get worn out and die around 100-120 days. Our bones will continue to produce new blood cells, replenishin' our supply.

How about white blood cells? These cells are cells of the immune system tat continually on the lookout for signs of disease, germ, or infection enterin' your body. They will either surround and devour the bacteria or produce protective anti-bodies to overpower the bacteria. A single drop of blood can contain up to 7000-25,000 white blood cells. These blood cells have an even shorter life span than the red blood cells. They only live from few days to weeks. However a high no. of white blood cells may not be good, it's a symptom of Leukemia (a cancer in the blood).
