Happened 2 find some old pics of mum & dad, sooo...lovely. I feel like gettin' married 2. Who shall i propose 2? :P Anyone still available??


And tat was the naughty me, n my sista on the rite. I didn't wanna open my eyes...haha. I'm forever thankful 4 the gd memories I have. One should remember the gd n forget the bad!! I remember the first time i rode my bike without any training wheels and my parents were guiding the back of my 80s BMX and gently let go. :)

Piano day

Supposed to be studyin' 4 my last paper...but ended up playin' the piano the whole mornin'. See the antique on the right? It's a huge 20 yrs old grand piano :P Sales anyone? Only $1000 n believe me it's still workin' perfectly!!! :P :) :P Ya can't get a grand piano for less than $10,000 for sure.

Btw, headin' back Aust next week. :P Supposed to meet Beeling for dinner n movies this weekend, hmm...maybe wait 4 me to come back n i can pass ya yr gift then. Take care!

First paper

I turned in at 3am last nite, woke up at 6.40, rushed 2 sch 4 my first paper. I loathed exam, too much 2 memorize!!! This paper killed me...it was tough...i hope i wld still be ard next Sem. :) If ya dun see me...ya know i've failed...hehe. Didn't haf this feelin' for long. I rem my last two exams last yr...i scored 93 and 91...i killed the papers. :P IT's all bcos of PROF TIMO this time, he warned us abt his 'sturdy' and erratic questions. Come on Prof Timo...it wasn't a Maths exam...y did ya ask us to derive formula?

I didn't haf too much time to study, was busy with the CVPR conference paper. :( But as mentioned the questions were unpredictable, hope i can hit 70%. God bless!! Saw a really cool pic tat i wanna share with ya. Isn't tat lovely?

airfare booked

I've booked my airfare back to Aust, from 4th Dec to 8th Dec, which is after my last paper (exam) and a day after the submission dateline of CVPR conference paper. Heading to Perth first...a place i always wanna go. Perth has the highest migrated Singaporeans...i always wonder why...few yrs back it was like 30,000 migrated singaporeans in Perth...n i reckon it increased throughout the yrs. I promised my ntu research sup tat i will be back asap...max of 4 days. Well...will keep my promise. :) Everyone...be gd. :P

Studying together

Today went studying with friends at AMK. Chongyan brought me to the central to try the unique Singapore's FRIED CARROT CAKE. He claimed it to be the best carrot cake in Singapore. Indeed they fried it crisp like a pancake, n they claimed to have 'less oil'. I pretty like it.



Then time to study...we filled the tables with books n notes...oh ok...she was working hard.

STUDY!!!

Tryin' to start studyin' for my exam today. So much to catch up on...i m far far...behind. I m very worried tat i wun make it through this Sem...time is runnin' out. Can i hit 70% in average? I really doubt so...though my assgs were like 80% in average. Exam takes up 60% or more in total!! I wondered how i did well for my previous studies!!! My WAM was like 90% which got me into first class.

Asked a couple of friends but noone is free to go Aust with me. My friend asked "How abt Ade?" I replied of cos not, her bf wld kill her. :) She has her happy life now. I wld be happy enough if she cld jus rem me. I rem where we went at the beach, where we sat, where we walked,...and i know God is with her all the while. May God bless her.

Finished writing at 5.15am

I finished writing the conf paper at 5.15am this morning...hooray. Sent to my sup and will wait n see wat i gotta change. Exam is down the corner n i gonna start immersing myself into my books again. My scholarship will be cancelled without achieving a 70% benchmark. :( Think abt it, besides sch n studies i've no other activity...wat life is this!?!??!!

I have not booked the airfare to Aust. Gotta do so asap. Asked my American friend Jesse and he doesn't have holiday in Dec...he asked 'how abt next week?' :( Not sure abt my french friend Gaetan. He wanna take a break from work too. My NTU friends Desmond, Wing, Huangyi are all heading back to their respective country in Dec...tats so awesome (for them)!!

Today i received some emails from my MPS friends tat we've been awarded the outstanding award 2006. I'm really really proud of them (excluding myself). I've a time crush on my class this Sem so i didn't really join them for months. I miss them, really like the people there...they are really nice which all of us are like a big family united together...i enjoyed it so much. Will definitely meet up with them after the exam. Ok gettin' back to sleep for now...

Going Australia in Dec

Have to do some stuffs in Aust. Heading to Aust in December. But i wanna spend my Christmas here in Singapore, will head back b4 tat.

Burglar broke in!!

This little burglar broke into my house today with his horrible lookin' pair of shades. He has long hair at his back... touching his shoulder... which no sch will allow. But his mum (my Aunt) is the principal of the sch... this is so iniquitous. Someone pls cut his tail if ya see him... i loathe it. :P My mum luv him & so do i.

Today I started writin' the conference paper... its always hard at the beginnin'. I hope i can get the outline ready by tonite. Ok back to work...

Happy birthday Wing

Today is Wing's birthday. I wanted fervently to join them for dinner, but i rem i spent too much time out yesterday & i should stay home 2 finish up my work today. Happy birthday Wing. :) Datelines r all gettin' close...& i've not done any exam revision. I hope i'm omnipotent...& i made a resolution tat i wanna have a long 12 hrs sleep after all my datelines & exams. Back to work!

Busy weekend

Today i went to sch really early with my friend Chongyan to do some work. We took some panoramic view of the sch. Then i gotta rush back home to change for the evening event. I met David at 6.15pm which he picked me up & we reached around 7. He drank lotsa wine (red & white) while i only had two. It was a really cool evening...i enjoyed myself.

I took a panoramic view of the luver's bridge. Though it doesn't look tat gd...it took me quite a while to do tat. I luv this bridge...lotsa memories...i sent to Ade. I m really jolly to chat with Ade tonite.

Today was tryin' hard to do the warpin' in my code...but didn't work...!! Will work harder tonite. Haf to go sch tomorrow...n havin' d&d in the evening.

SlEePy mE !!!!!!!

Reached uni around 9.30am today. I felt sooo...sleepy. Had bad
internet connection last nite, sorry Cherry. :) Met my sup today...discussed smthing with him but i wasn't really convinced by him to use a kinda sophisticated method to solve a problem in the research. Thanks Desmond and Wing for helping me to solve...they proposed a method which made more sense...somehow...which i dun wanna get myself started wif it now...hehe.

An Aussie friend Ben arrived at Singapore today...he called me...n i was bewildered when i received his call, was too busy n i had totally forgotten abt it this afternoon. I met up wif him at City hall n we went for dinner (sushi...i realise tat i always bring friends to sushi), then met up wif his friend at church (suntec). I reckon we had a really gd chat. :)

woRkiN' hArd

Met my sup 2day, he was happy wif my work so far. But still quite alot of problems tat i found...n not sure if he realized too. Today i miss Ade. I was hallucinatin' in the lecture...n also on the bus, wonderin' how is she now in Japan.

I m quite disappointed with a friend today....but life still haf 2 move on. Gotta work hard!

Tiring tuesday

Today seems 2 be a tirin' day for everyone. Some chose 2 haf a game break...

I still managed to stay sober...went for class and rushed to clementi to meet my buddy Hendrik for dinner. Hadn't seen him for quite awhile...we had so much 2 catch up. He was lookin' at my assignments in my laptop...



Hope I did get him excited...abt those interestin' output results...hehe. :) I had a gd time, thank ya Hendrik.

Monday blues

Was writin' some codings today. Finally i got a reply fr my sup.
"Thanks! Sorry I didn’t see your earlier message. The important thing is that we should be able to rescale it easily to a mobile phone’s resolution. Yes, let’s discuss this tomorrow afternoon."
He is a very nice professor overall...at least not those fastidious kind...though sometimes he had no time for me. I got a call fr David in the evenin'...he was sorry abt the last concert which he didn't turn up. He's meetin' me this Sat evenin' for some french's ball or d&d...which he reminded me to really dress up formally. He asserted "ya know french...". It reminds me of Ade. How i wish she cld be there with us too. I didn't even wish her happy birthday...I think i'm weird too...for some reasons. Tomorrow evening I'm meeting Hendrik (one of my buddy) for dinner, haven't seen him for ages. Also wanna discuss some research work with him.

With the help of my awesome friend Chongyan (he took the pics while i did all the updating), I managed to finish off at 5pm. It was really strenuous n I gotta stay up late tonite 2 to set up the database. I reckon he was very 'Beckham' today, really cool...look at his pic below.



We went to Bugis then n had our dinner. We decided not to take sushi today though we r sushi buddies. It had been a long long...time since i last stepped into a wet market...see wat i ate.



Believe me I did miss Singapore's food...which I cld never find in Aust, esp these kinda stuffs. I dunno the exact pronunciation for this dish but i know it is 'kuay...smthing'. Try it but dun eat too often (its insanitary...haha). Can somebody pls tell me who is Tomato Tan? I got these bizarre requests lately fr friendster. Or perhaps i know them but jus tat i dun rem (pardon me abt my dementia problem...gettin' worse each day). By the way I do like tomato...i dun like chilli. :P

Sunday morning at Uni

Slept at 2.45am last nite n woke up at 7 this morning, reached sch at 10. Yeah today is supposed to be a beautiful Sunday lyin' slothfully on the bed, but I still gotta go back uni to work, including takin' pics n stuffs. I've all my equipments ready (GPS, compass, water bottle, map of uni, etc.).



I started takin' pics n realized tat I was the worst photographer ever, so I finally decided to stop n wait in the lab for my friend to come at 1. It wld also be easier to work in pair in this case, 1 updatin' the map while the other one takin' pics. Back to my lab in the uni, this is my workin' cubicle. Yeah I'm new here so apparently my desk is pretty empty.

Boring weekend - study

Another borin' weekend...stayin' at home to study. I fell asleep in between. Its so cool to be back home durin' weekend where I could play some songs on the piano for myself...livin' in my indulgence. Yeah the picture on the right, tats one of my favorite musical piece 'marriage D Amor'....and after listening to it for like 934834573521849 times....i still luv it. I remember a friend back in Aust introduced me with this piece...which blew me away when she played it on my piano...really cool.

Tomorrow gotta go back school to finish off some work, takin' pics and stuffs...which my sup asked me to. A very good friend of mine is coming to acc/help me in the afternoon, at least i'll not be alone.

I miss my old friends

Today I woke up early in the morning...was still squirming on the bed till i received a msg from this good friend of mine back in Aust (1st pic from the top). I miss those days in Aust where we always hang out for dinner and fun. I miss your people in Aust... i miss Gaetan, Benson, Jesse, Solaris, Carol, Wing, Karen, Joe, Matt, Tiffany, Artee, Jane, June, & many.....

Another weekend has gone and I gonna work even harder...too much work. I'm really glad I've some awesome friends too in my current school, we r like a family :). Without them...i would not have survived. :) These are their pictures (2nd & 3rd from the top)....thank ya sooo...much.

First blog's entry - depression

This is my first blog's entry. It had been a long time since i last wrote a blog entry. I shared one with Ade sometime ago till she got it independent. I enjoyed it & tat period was really jolly. We met up pretty often & lotsa hilarious things happened. I decided to start blogging now to stay in touch with my friends, and also as a diary to remind me wat i've done each day or week. Today as usual went to school early in the morning n back home late at 11pm plus....yeah my life sucks. Cldn't concentrate much too today...after chattin' with Ade. She wasn't really jolly abt my visit and exclaimed tat her new bf wld be unhappy abt it. Everythin' ard me changed n I didn't even realize it till i was told. Hmm...yeah i jus knew she got a new bf, n seems like we can't be friends. Ultimately I'm really happy for her too, at least she is havin' someone to take care of her there in Japan. I am falling in luv too, with my lovely piano, she cld share my sorrows & joys.
