2XU Race 2011

Woke up at 5am in the morning, was at 2XU run (12km) with Dennis and other friends. Managed to cross the finish line in exactly an hour, Dennis finished in 1hr02min, Chongyan completed in 1hr20min+, etc. I hope i managed to squeeze into the top 10% list. =) Pretty awesome day and I enjoyed the run.

Singapore Yacht Show (Sentosa)

I am going out sea tomorrow afternoon. A friend is driving his yacht out sea and we are also attending the Singapore Yacht Show at Sentosa. I strongly recommend ya guys to register (S$50 fee) if the registration is still opened. Ya will get to see many beautiful and luxury yachts or so called "superyacht" on the day. I will try to take some pics there tomorrow. My dinner will be there too in Sentosa. Join me there if ya are free. The time of the exhibition will be from 3 to 10pm. See ya there at ONE degree 15 Marina Club, Sentosa Cove tomorrow.


Ok gonna turn in, i gotta wake up at 5am tomorrow. I've the 2XU 12km run tomorrow morning, wish me luck!!

So drunk!!!

Now is almost 2am, I just got back home, really.... drunk tonight. How to go to work tomorrow? =) We opened 3 bottles of champagne. David and I decided to visit a friend's restaurant in the evening in order to know more abt managing a restaurant before we set up our own restaurant. We ordered some food, and in order to support our friend we opened 3 bottles of champagne. Anyway we cldn't finish them. But we really enjoyed chattin' with the boss which is our friend, learnt abt the management, rental cost, etc.... so the $500 spent on the food and champagne was pretty worth. So full now... but still gotta sleep, gdnite everyone.

Long daysss...

These few weeks a friend and i have been planning of opening a restaurant/cafe business. We have the fund and some ideas, and an agent friend is helping us to lookout for a gd location/shop for rent. I have two uncles who are doing restaurant biz too, so we are also consulting them for advises.

Work isn't too gd, had an argument with my senior yesterday, pretty bad!! Partially my fault as i cldn't complete some work on time. I reached the office at 7.50am today and anyway managed to complete it today. I am more concern abt the quality of the work than the quantity, but here ppl are more concern abt the quantity, "fast" is the word, people are just rushing through their work with an eye closed. I have published abt 10 international conferences/journals, we are all very careful abt the things we do/write, every single sentence is impt. A single mistake may get your paper being rejected after all the months of effort and hard work. I am also a reviewer of 3 international journal, so sometimes i have to review submitted papers from authors around the world. As a reviewer, i've to be fair and very careful whether i should let the work be published or reject it. Sigh... i dun like rushing over work. But we dun have a choice here!!

4th of the month

4th of the month, not sure should it be called my happiest days of the month, or just a day to remind me of how naive i was. A day i was told how much i was being loved, a day i was told i wld be the last one. I was really jolly. Anyway its a day i'll always remember.

My hand has almost fully recovered, like 80%. Dr Tan told me it wld take me like 6-12 months time before i cld really recover my strength. Today he was astonished by my recovery. He asserted tat this is quite rare, he has never seen anyone who cld recover so fast...haha. Sounded like i m a mutant, not human. I reckon i can even do like 20 pull-ups now. =)

Sorry people, esp Xue and Daniel if i were a little harsh on ya guys jus now. I wasn't telling ya off, jus bcos a friend msged me abt the tagboard thing... and i dun wanna hurt anyone, therefore asked ya guys to be more polite and mind your words. Ok its late, gdnite!

Friday party event

FRIDAY Party Event was strictly for invited guests only (VIP). Lot of luxurious cars just like Daniel's porsche (If you talk abt cars and never mention abt Daniel's porsche... he wld be really pissed off) around. Ok anyway just had time to take some random pictures of the beautiful people around. Friday is one of my favorite days of the week, it reminds me of kitty too... our awesome Friday! But now i really can't believe and accept the fact tat she is sleepin' with someone else so soon, i find it really gross!!!

Today will be my last time playing/performing the piano, i told my friends too. 我再也不会弹钢琴了.

Cycling day

Cycling evenin', took a pic while waiting for a friend there. 6 of us cycled about 45km, pretty fun. I'm tired... zzz...

Today i got my 2XU wears, mainly compression type. The total cost of the items is about S$300, but the compression material is real cool. I strongly recommend to the triathletes and so.

Wrong Person

Today after work bumped into a HR personnel in the lift. She asked me "Where is this gal (one of my colleagues)? I thought you two everyday go back home together?" I felt so embarrassed, she got the wrong person. I am not tat bloke who send her to work and back home everyday. She is on oversea working trip.

Run and dinner with Irene

Today Irene suggested to run with me in the evening, and i was like "Are ya sure ya can run? I am a pretty fast runner." Anyway she wanted so ok fine... my first time running with her. We started (slow run) and after like 200m she stopped... hahahaa. Hmm... i didn't expect tat so anyway we ran and walked for another like 600m before we proceeded to our dinner. Had not met up with her for rather long so yeah pretty much to catch up.

She drove me home after dinner. After a few mins she called and said she cldn't drive as she got cramp on her leg.... hahahaaa... my mum and i were like "Wat? Jus a short run and she got leg cramp." Soooo.... i went to meet her again and helped her apply the muscular balm. She got better and finally home sweet home. =) Galssss.... please do workout alittle. Tiring day....

Back to work

Dear friends, I got back to work today (as on Thur). Hmmm... don't have to call or sms me to ask if i m feeling better anymore. Nah i mean it was very sweet but i was repeatin' the same answer so many times in a day. =) I'm really feelin' better now, thank ya so much.

I went for a run in the evenin', completed 5.2km in 24mins. Last week i made it within 23mins. Sigh... my goals is to hit 19mins. Tomorrow is Friday, one of my favorite days of the week, TGIF. =)

On MC today, not feelin' too well. I'm really thankful for all the warm get well wishes from the lovely people. Didn't expect so many people to know I'm sick.... hmmm... not a gd news to share. =) I'll be back to work tomorrow, again thank ya very much.

Favorite transport - buses

I'm fallin' in love with the public transport - Buses. It gives me lotsa sweet and wonderful memories. I took it twice today.... the long journey just gave me enough time to rest, and to remind me of those happiest moments of my life. I had never liked buses. I would either take the train, cab, ride, or drive but not bus. Now it becomes my favorite. =) Have you ever miss something or someone very much? How do you cope with tat? Try to keep yourself busy?? Or look at the pics and dream abt it/him/her??? Hmmm... everything is fated!!

Gold class cinema

After sentosa we went for a movie at the Vivocity Gold class cinema. Gold class cinema is a private lounge and plush electronic recliner seats comparable to the first class airline seats. While enjoying the movie, you can order drinks and foods anytime.

Before the movie you will gather at the VIP lounge to have a drink until they invite you in for the movie.

Company's family day

This weekend was the company's family day. We spent 2D1N at Sentosa. We could all bring a friend/partner. Initially Bryan was supposed to join me, anyway Ade went with me. I requested a twin room. Our room in the Hardrock hotel was right at the very end (corner) so it was rather huge, and the view was magnificient.

How do you feel when the girl you love and thought you were gotta spend the rest of your life with is getting married? Upset but I will try to feel good for her as she is truly with the right man for her now and forever. If you really love her you should let her go. I read her letter (through email) to me near the evenin' and i jus managed to reply her.

Just back home, went to Chris's place to finish up the composed song. Hmmm... more or less done, we like it, but i may not be the one performing this time. We are suggestin' to let Richard sing it this time. Anyway this will be put to the Xmas event, far away from now.

Busy and weird Tue

Jusssssssss.... back home, so tireddddd....!!!!! Another busy and WEIRD day at work. First Daniel called and told me this "I've promised Ade to have dinner together with you, will you do me this favor?..... blah blah blah..." Later in the afternoon Sharon called and said she was downstair meetin' me for teabreak. I thought wat happened when she asserted tat she had smthing to discuss with me. Ya know wat? She asked "Can Xuehui and I join you guys for dinner later?" I was bewildered... silly silly gal. =) She drove all the way there to look for me jus to ask me tat.

Supposed to leave work at 6pm today, off my computer, took out my bag from the drawer and started to walk off. Before i reached the door, i saw my colleague Yilin was left alone workin' on our project... and i felt very guilty so decided to stay with him. Therefore in the end i left the office at 7pm. And supposed to meet the guys (Daniel, Sharon, Ade, etc.) at 6.30pm, i reached at 8.00pm after i went back home to change. Felt so sorry everyone was waitin' for me so i paid the bill. Ade is a very nice gal, cldn't stop laughin' when she was tellin' everyone how kind i was to bring her in the rehearsal. Nah... i wasn't kind, i jus happened to see her at the door tat day. In the late evenin', Daniel wanted to give her a lift home but she refused to sit in the half a million dollar porsche, hahaaa.... so everyone was like askin' Daniel to change his car. =) Hmmm.... wat an unique gal she is. Anyway i sent her and Xue home.... and now i am home. =( Tireeeeeddddd!! Gd night everyone!!!

Mon-Tue

Ended work rather late on Mon, abt 7pm+. Saw the two happy幸福的表情... I am happy too. 爱情大概就是这样子吧。=) After work, went to Chris's place to work on our composed song, still quite abit to edit... not perfect enough! I'm not able to play the piano recently so Chris gotta help me. Chris is really a musical talent, without him alot of our songs are not possible to be completed. I fell a sleep at his place while chattin' with him, had two glasses of wine. Woke up at 4am+, and now I am back home. May be able to catch an hour+ of sleep before goin' to work.

Hmm... guys, do help support Chris and the guys this Sat. I may not be able to attend due to some company's event. But plssss... go without me. Thanks.

Today i finally understand the meanin' of "心如刀割". Marked one of the most miserable days of my life.

Useless...。

I used to reckon tat i'm invincible, and there's nothin' tat i cannot do, no mountain is too high, nothin' is impossible for me!!! However, today i jus feel so useless again, i jus cldn't stop him. I dun have the authority, position, or rank to do so. I feel so sorry i cldn't even help alittle!!!

Didn't have enough sleep last night, so today was kinda tired and moody at work. The first thing i did when i reached home was to play the piano, which is one of my best friends. But... 我连琴都弹不好了，真没用。I really feel very tired..... Gdnite all my friends, i hope on every of your mind, i m not a bad and useless friend. If yes please forgive me k?

Work was gd yesterday, had the freedom to do everythin' at our own comfortable pace. We finished everythin', conducted a meetin' with the guys, sent the reports, and able to leave the office before 6. I believe tat cld be our last day of freedom at work. Anyway dinner was awesome too, or at least i enjoyed it alot and lotsa workout after tat. I knew in life not everythin' cld last forever, not everyday cld be tat happy...... so i cherished every single sec of the moment. Tat gave me the feelin' of stoppin' the clock (time). I marked it as one of the happiest days of my life.

Pretty hot day, perspired badly n i was like a smelly pig. =) First time dubbed myself as a "pig". Had a nap abt 4pm till 6. Boxing was cancelled due to my injured arm, but i went over to meet Firoz to explain and apologize for the cancellation of everythin'. Daniel brought 9 of his friends there, to protect me maybe.... hahaa... silly. =) Anyway we went supper after.

Fish buffet

Yesterday supposed to have an impt meeting in the evening with some Drs/Profs from some companies/organizations but in the end i cldn't turn up. Leonard they all were like flooding my mobile phone n i apologized, and even today they called n i apologized again and again. I jus wanna say i m very sorry once again if any of ya read this. I had smthing really impt.

Was joggin' with Bryan after work, followed by dinner with him. Abt 9pm mum asked me to accompany her and Uncle to supermarket to buy some fishes and prawns for supper. And we bought like 8 fishes with 3-4 diff types, and some prawns. I felt like we were havin' a fish/seafood buffet, few of us finishin' all those.

The comin' weekend mum asked me to help her settle smthing oversea, so may have to leave Singapore for a while. I may have to apply work leave for Monday in case i can't make it back on Sunday. Hmmm.... not sure how it goes, too tired to think abt it now. So guys if ya have anythin' please email me or msg me here as i may not wanna bring my mobile phone with me for some reasons. I am fine... don't worry guys

Ok initially did not wanna blog this entry but since everyone seems to know abt it and was asking, i jus have to answer. Hurt my hand a little during training yesterday and Dr Tan (mum's very gd friend) had given me an injection last night, x-ray later... suspected a crack in the vein/bone. Its very minor... don't have to worry k? Face has just some very very minor scratches, no big deal too. Yesterday Xue and Zhangli were crying on the spot, silly gals... don't you rem i had a big scratch + swollen eye the last time during boxing? This is nothing. Just uglier, so charming for wat?? And with one hand now, i can still hug you guys. =) I'm very touched you guys were there to support me, thank you very much.... and don't worry k?

I was extremely tired, cldn't really sleep well for the past few nites, and after the 3km run with 8kg weight pack on my body yesterday.... i did sleep slightly better last night.... was dead tired. Hmmm.... friends were blaming Firoz (my former coach) for giving me such a tough first training. Nah... i am the useless one, not blaming anyone. A senior student was asked to practise with me, he's a very tough guy. Firoz has his reason, time is running out, and i'm still rather weak.... if i can't even fight his current student, then not to mention abt Klahan (also one of my seniors, an elite boxer). I don't like boxing, its abt ferocity, carnage and cruelness.... just like this reality world.

By the way Chris himself is replacing me for the piano performance in April, i can't really play the piano at the moment. But don't worry abt me and do support them k? I will attend some of the rehearsals and the actual performance as a guest. Do let Daniel know so he can make some arrangements at Chris's side.

Rainy day...

Very bad day...

1) Cldn't finish my work in office due to mood swing, so i left the office abt 6pm with the unfinished arrears. I promised my colleague tat i'll OT and finish as much as possible tomorrow. =(

2) Was raining cats and dogs after work so i took out my umbrella trying to walk out of the office building. A gal from nowhere came and asked if i cld share the umbrella with her. Come on.... my tiny umbrella wasn't even enough to cover myself, and i was in bad mood so i was quite impolite and answered "Sorry i'm not going anywhere yet!!"

3) Didn't attend the rehearsal this evening because i felt really so tired, and everyone was like calling and blaming me.

4) Just realised tomorrow nobody is at home and i don't wanna stay at home too!!!! I don't wanna occupy all the rooms by myself tomorrow night, so i gotta stay out maybe in a hotel or so!!!!!!! =(

Osaka trip

Was in Osaka for a biz trip with a senior colleague last week. Was alittle disgruntled in the beginning, esp when my senior insisted tat i had to join in the "meeting for next year budget and plans" with them around 4pm+ (Osaka time). I shdn't be involved but he jus didn't wanna release me slightly earlier to do my shopping. I didn't wanna attend and so you know.... the situation didn't turn up too gd. I am someone who doesn't like to do or being forced to do things tat i dun wanna do, or sucking up to my senior or boss or whoever. Anyway I'm not annoyed with him anymore, come to think of it he's still a nice guy, he's the one who proposed to bring me there and has been taking care of me all along.

Ok so in the evenings in Osaka i usually tried to do some shopping, aiming to find a hello kitty store. Yeah i know... its hilarious, i cldn't believe it too... a man like me was actually hunting around for a hello kitty store. Felt really silly and hurt when she somehow said "Give to someone else, I am not interested"... sigh. One of the evening i rushed to ShinSaiBashi by myself.

Anyway touched down in Singapore around 5.30pm, mum wanted me to rush down to meet her lawyer friend to settle some legal docs. Around 9pm was out again after a quick shower to catch up with my buddies, had a gd chat with them while passing them some mochi i got from Osaka. Dead tired now.... gonna turn in, gdnite!!

Today is Valentine's day, i received quite a number of bizarre smses/msgs. E.g. an ex msged me if i wanna catch a movie or if not she cld pass me a pair of movie tickets; a friend asked me to go sentosa after work (wat?? So late!!!); a friend asked me to perform her a song (wat?? I m not a part-time entertainer); some asked where i'd be going (come on stop stalkin' me, i'm sure u've better things to do); etc etc. But i really luv this card given to me by Ade (but i m not disclosin' the contents), its kinda sweet isn't it? Sigh, can luv be trusted???

Happy Valentine's day

Happy Valentine's day to all couples around the world. I bought myself some gifts (clothings) today. =P Hahaa... yeah i know its hilarious but stop jeerin' at me. Day 1: I miss kitty. Watched the music video (mtv) many times.


Valentine's resolution: I wish to find someone who really love me (as wat i m) n of cos i must luv her too. =) Maybe i don't dare to believe/trust anymore... sigh. You know its scary... it really hurts when you stepped onto the nails!! I m always stereotyped as stupid by some friends (e.g. DAMN Bryan and Dan just said tat again today) bcos it seems tat there are many gals around me but i m jus sooo not interested. They envy me so much but dunno tat i m actually 100% taking the gals purely as friends... nothin' else. So again, whoever I luv or don't luv or hate, i wish tat you will find your prince/princess one day.

Bad Friday

I'm usually head over heels on Friday... regardless of how much workload i have. But this Friday (today) I am extremely gloomy. I don't wish to talk/blog about it, maybe I was just being silly to believe... Anyway won't wanna think about it anymore.

Dinner with PSL colleagues today in Geylang area, a Chinese restaurant. Leung called later and invited me to join their party, however i was too moody so didn't join them... went home and dream!!! A very busy week ahead, lets see my schedule:
