Career fair@ntu

Went for a run with Bryan yesterday evenin', then to supper. He mentioned abt introducin' his gf's sista to me... ha interestin'. He raised this que "Do ya mind gals wif tattoo, smoke, n not so educated?" I ans tat i totally haf no prejudice against gals who haf tatoo, smoke or uneducated, as long as tat person has a kind soul, truthworthy, n like me as wat i m.

Career fair was fairly crowded today. Saw Tien n he was well-dressed up...haa kinda hilarious... i asked "Hey Tien, gettin' married today?" He ans "Yeah, why didn't ya dress up?"

Gaetan called me fr Aust today. He's comin' over Singapore on FRIDAY for one day, then to Paris!! Oh yeah buddy ya r here finally!!! Oh i've not planned where to bring him to yet.

Met Chris

Today i was sooo... exhausted in sch. However i left quite early n went 2 Chris's place, where Xue, Sharon, Dan, ZL were there 2. Wat else cld we do there? Yeah... as usual they were all waitin' 4 my golden fingers 2 play some sentimental songs... haha, yeah waited 2 long, *kiddin'! But its true i hadn't been playin' the piano 2 anyone since i quitted. Its really cool 2 play some sentimental songs when ya r not feelin' 2 gd. The piano is really one of my best buddies which always there by my side n listenin' 2 me. I hope God cld send an angel 2 earth 2 acc me, always there wif me durin' gd or bad time, n jus like the pros n flaws/imperfection of me... haha sweet! :) Took a pic yesterday - Big shades day...

finished wif openhse poster

Finally finished wif the openhse poster yesterday. Slept at 5.30am tat nite b4...was totally enervated. I can't put the poster image up here sorry...it should only be displayed on the day of the event 4 many reasons. Come look 4 me on tat day. :) Oh i dropped my mobile phone when i was smsin' yesterday. It kinda cracked!! :( Tat goes my dopod. Had a gd chat wif Xue yesterday, who i had never been catchin' up wif lately. She's as usual the simple gal next door n family type, ...nothin' much 2 update... but its nice chattin' wif her everytime. Ming was catchin' a movie again yesterday. Wun she get tired of moviesss.. every week with suitors? Haha... yeah ppl r weird in their own way. Flora called me for movie today but i told her i gotta do some work. The thing is i told her many times i m not into movies n i only go movie if tat movie really somehow attracts me, e.g., x-men, rambo, artificial intelligence, i m legend... etc. Think she jus dun understand as the movie theatre is like a paradise to her n many ppl. :)

Sch bazaars

Busy preparation for the comin' exhibit/open house. We r workin' on the demo n poster today... not finished yet. I realised tat our sch is really happenin'. There r like carnivals, bazaars... every week, sellin' mainly gals' stuffs which ya know why. :P Gals like to shop more than guys!

Crazy thoughts

Its sooo cool to be back home. I miss my computer, my piano, my blender, my family, ... etc. Haf some deviant thoughts lately. Last nite (midnite) i blended an avocado, orange, apple, tomato, carrot, vege, milk... for my supper. Other things i wanna do:

1) Walk & run for hrs, e.g., fr Pasir ris beach to tampines, bedok, etc.
2) Do abit of suntannin' n swim.
3) Do abit of workout, hopefully can get bk my 20 pull-ups.

Of cos i can't forget abt some serious work 2. Workin' with Tien on the exhibit for the NTU openhse in March. We gonna do smthin' tat can interact with the audiences on the two days. N there r prizes 2 be won too, 1st price $2000, followed by $1500, $1000 i think. :P

Yesterday Xue called me n asked abt the DnD. Last yr she was my partner n this yr she said "I dun care... i'll be yr partner this yr 2". Haha... anyway it doesn't really matter as lotsa us bring our friends as partners 2. The thing is i kinda asked Ming this yr. But Xue is rite too its bizarre as i m not tat close wif Ming. I dunno, maybe i dun need a partner this yr. :) Its gd too, noone will mistaken her as my gf/wife.

Really touched!

Runnin' in the city of Cambridge is a wonderful thing, ya agreed? Past few weeks i was kinda dispirit n not in gd mood bcos of my little cousin. He was discharged on Wed after several operations (yes n still wif some stitches now) n should be much stable now. My poor little boy... i miss him so much. I'm really touched when some of my friends do really care abt me n my cousin. Xue's overwhelmin' msgs, Rgds fr Sharon, Ade, Jesse, Selina, etc. I m really pleased when ppl do rem me, e.g., Ming msg me abt my favorite show "Amazing race". I dun rem tellin' her... or maybe i did. These ppl r jus so awesome, thank ya ppl very much.

Mum is kinda interested in a 20-yr old two-storey hse in Lorong Ah Soo. She's thinkin' of gettin' it for investment, rentin' it out or so. The thing is where the hell is Lorong Ah Soo? Yes i do rem i went there once 4 supper, but i reckon even the name itself sounds exotic n kinda "complicated". Advised mum to reconsider.

Quiet world

The beach is really quiet nowadays... barely did i see anyone... jus noone. The world seems so quiet. Haf not been to sch for quite awhile, wat r the chances of gettin' dismissed fr sch?

Jus finished & submitted my ICIP 2008 conf paper today, n also sent to Prof Yow & Sluzek 4 checkin'. Gd luck 2 us!! Little cousin was discharged fr the hospital in the evenin', thank God (yes whichever God).

Wish 2 visit Chinatown one day b4 Chinese New Yr. I rem the last time i went there i was lost... totally lost... n somehow walked 2 Raffle Place!! :( Not really familiar wif the place but i wanna experience n soak in the festive atmosphere which i missed 4 many yrs... i really luv it. But maybe i should first get myself a tour guide. :P

There's a huge Career fair 2008 at NTU on 30 & 31 Jan. http://www.ntu.edu.sg/cao2/careerfair2008/ There will be over 108 employers during the 2-day event. Prepare & bring along yr resumes. Employers include Ministry of defence, Navy, Air Force, Republic polytechnic, Time Publishing Limited, Great Eastern Life, CAAS, Yokogawa Engineering Asia, JTC Corporation, UMC, ST Engineering, Standard Chartered Bank, Siemens Pte Ltd, Hitachi Semiconductor, Keppel Corporation, etc etc...

little cousin is sufferin' fr viral lung infection

Little cousin is admitted 2 hospital, sufferin' fr viral lung infection. The doctor said he needs operation as half of his lung was kinda harden/coagulated n had no response at all, which caused him 2 haf difficulties in breathin'. However, due 2 his young age, the operation is quite perilous or not too optimistic. Doctor informed us 2 be mentally prepared 4 the worst... noone cld bear the tears hearin' tat. Little cousin is dyin'??? I dunno wat 2 do.... i m jus devastated n lost. The deep gnawing pain inside me can never stop!!! I always believed tat nothin' is impossible 4 me 2 accomplish in life n i wld never need 2 beg anyone 4 help. But this time i did beg someone 4 help, pls... pls help him! I begged the doctors, i begged the Gods, jus anyone, anyone tat can help.

Met mps friends

Today little cousin came, reached at 7.10am in the mornin'. Had fun playin' wif him n i didn't do any work or go 2 sch. Oh... kinda worried now.... gonna work harder tmr, paper due in 2 weeks time.

Met up wif mps friends, really jolly 2 see them ppl. G3 was there too. She passed me an extra herbal drink... tasted astonishingly gd. :) I've not passed her the xmas gift.

Joke!!

Few days ago Henry n Weiliang asked me where i work since some ppl were addressin' me as Dr. I explained "Nah, i m a cleaner in the hospital, so ppl were jus bein' ironic n teasin' me as a Dr". :P Henry was like "R ya serious? Ya dun look like a cleaner". Then i ans "Yes i m serious. Is there a cleaner's look? No rite??" Hahaa... so he believed. I ever mentioned 2 some outside friends (those not so close ones) 2 tat i m a cleaner. Yeah i know i m insane.... but i got my reasons, i m jus so tired of the looks ppl gave me, the ques they asked, etc etc...!!! If they really take me as a friend, watever i m... i m still their friend. :)

1st entry of 2008

Yesterday one of my gd friends Jasmine asked me to meet up either this or next week. Yeah haven't seen her for quite awhile. However i dunno where 2 go wif her n i gotta rush on a conf paper which is due quite soon. Hmm... of cos i didn't say no 2 her... i used "Lets see...". Hahaaa...

Chatted wif Ade for awhile 2, kinda havin' alittle debate on the topic "Does God exist?" Hmm... anyway 2 me there isn't a rite or wrong ans. Went 2 sch early in the mornin', met up wif Tien 2 discuss on some work. I left sch pretty early... ard 4pm. Ming was bk yesterday fr her honeymoon. :)
