Osaka trip

Was in Osaka for a biz trip with a senior colleague last week. Was alittle disgruntled in the beginning, esp when my senior insisted tat i had to join in the "meeting for next year budget and plans" with them around 4pm+ (Osaka time). I shdn't be involved but he jus didn't wanna release me slightly earlier to do my shopping. I didn't wanna attend and so you know.... the situation didn't turn up too gd. I am someone who doesn't like to do or being forced to do things tat i dun wanna do, or sucking up to my senior or boss or whoever. Anyway I'm not annoyed with him anymore, come to think of it he's still a nice guy, he's the one who proposed to bring me there and has been taking care of me all along.

Ok so in the evenings in Osaka i usually tried to do some shopping, aiming to find a hello kitty store. Yeah i know... its hilarious, i cldn't believe it too... a man like me was actually hunting around for a hello kitty store. Felt really silly and hurt when she somehow said "Give to someone else, I am not interested"... sigh. One of the evening i rushed to ShinSaiBashi by myself.

Anyway touched down in Singapore around 5.30pm, mum wanted me to rush down to meet her lawyer friend to settle some legal docs. Around 9pm was out again after a quick shower to catch up with my buddies, had a gd chat with them while passing them some mochi i got from Osaka. Dead tired now.... gonna turn in, gdnite!!

Today is Valentine's day, i received quite a number of bizarre smses/msgs. E.g. an ex msged me if i wanna catch a movie or if not she cld pass me a pair of movie tickets; a friend asked me to go sentosa after work (wat?? So late!!!); a friend asked me to perform her a song (wat?? I m not a part-time entertainer); some asked where i'd be going (come on stop stalkin' me, i'm sure u've better things to do); etc etc. But i really luv this card given to me by Ade (but i m not disclosin' the contents), its kinda sweet isn't it? Sigh, can luv be trusted???

Happy Valentine's day

Happy Valentine's day to all couples around the world. I bought myself some gifts (clothings) today. =P Hahaa... yeah i know its hilarious but stop jeerin' at me. Day 1: I miss kitty. Watched the music video (mtv) many times.


Valentine's resolution: I wish to find someone who really love me (as wat i m) n of cos i must luv her too. =) Maybe i don't dare to believe/trust anymore... sigh. You know its scary... it really hurts when you stepped onto the nails!! I m always stereotyped as stupid by some friends (e.g. DAMN Bryan and Dan just said tat again today) bcos it seems tat there are many gals around me but i m jus sooo not interested. They envy me so much but dunno tat i m actually 100% taking the gals purely as friends... nothin' else. So again, whoever I luv or don't luv or hate, i wish tat you will find your prince/princess one day.

Bad Friday

I'm usually head over heels on Friday... regardless of how much workload i have. But this Friday (today) I am extremely gloomy. I don't wish to talk/blog about it, maybe I was just being silly to believe... Anyway won't wanna think about it anymore.

Dinner with PSL colleagues today in Geylang area, a Chinese restaurant. Leung called later and invited me to join their party, however i was too moody so didn't join them... went home and dream!!! A very busy week ahead, lets see my schedule:

12/2 - Day: Work work work + meeting..., launching our new apps. Evening: NY dinner (invited by Simon)

13/2 - Day: Ling arrives in Singapore, meeting her. Evening: Welcome party at Chris's place.

14/2 - Day: Work. Evening: Piano rehearsal.

15/2 - Day: Work. Evening: Jog

16/2 - Day: Fly to Japan. Evening: Meet Jason etc. for dinner or supper.

17/2 - Day: Work (Japan). Evening: Shopping I guess.

18/2 - Day: Work (Japan). Evening: Shopping I guess.

19/2 - Day: Fly back to Singapore. Evening: Rest

20/2 - Day: Swim/jog. Evening: Piano rehearsal.

Happy new year

Happy new year everyone. What did i do on 1st Jan 2011? I went cycling with my cycling buddies, 8 of us cycled around Singapore. I bought this Fuji road bike for this cycling trip. We reached changi village for breakfast, then headed to east coast, sentosa, followed by West coast for lunch. Next we reached NTU, then a goat farm, and back home. We cycled a total of 135km. Fun thing!!

Standard Chartered Marathon

I woke up at 1am on the 5th Dec, met up with Dennis at 2.45am and took the bus to Standard Chartered Marathon (42km). It started at 5am sharp, with 20,000 people runnin' 42km, another 20,000 runnin' 21km, and 20,000 on the 10km.

The weather was pretty gd, n i was perfectly ok for the 1st 30km, then started to have cramps here and there. Anyway I completed the 42.125km run in 4hr38mins. Several friends took part in the event too, e.g. Chongyan, Joel, Ade, Dennis, Zhangyu, etc. However it was too crowded, i cldn't really bump into most of them. Dennis completed in 4hr53mins, Chongyan 7hr+, Ade (10km) 1hr20mins+, and so on. I guess we all enjoyed the run. =)

YOG party at Universal Studio

Dahon vector X10

I've been waitin' for this new Dahon 2011 product line (vector x10) for long. Its not officially out in the market yet, and will probably be arrivin' in Singapore early next year. It features a patented hydroformed frame which is extremely strong and stylish, weighing only abt 9kg, one of Dahon's lightest bikes ever. I'm expectin' it to cost about S$3000.

Few days ago it has won a prestigious Eurobike Award at the 2010 Eurobike bicycle trade show held in Friedrichshafen, Germany.

YOG week

Met Uncle and his friend at Marina Bay Sands for high tea. Its a beautiful place but lotsa shops are not opened yet, still under renovation and so. Uncle booked a room there for tonite, with his wife and kids.

Cycled to East Coast

Was tryin' to workout on my legs and stamina, so i cycled all the way from Pasir Ris to East Coast today. Hmm... not too far (abt 35km to and from) but was really fun on a beautiful weekend and gd weather condition.

Cycling trip

Went cycling from my place to East coast last weekend with Leong and Dennis. Was pretty far abt 20km to reach there in an hour+. I wasn't too used to long distance cycling so i felt so exhausted when i reached. We had supper and headed back home. My bicycle wasn't gd enough for long distance and Dennis, an experienced cyclist, suggested me to get a better one. I tried the one which Dennis was ridin' tat day and i pretty like it, a foldable and incredibly fast one.

Ok my to-buy list is this Dahon Mu P8, about S$1300+. Its cool, isn't it?

Batam trip

Today Chongyan and his gf are headin' down to batam's resort, a place i recommended them, and a place I always wanna go but never have the chance. I recommended them the package and i hope they will enjoy themselves... so envy them!!

Wats wrong with the people?

Recently I am really fed up with the people around me. Its really not worth to treat someone well, eventually he/she will take u for granted and reckon tats wat u should do for him/her. Moreover he/she will never never never x10… be there when u need him/her most, tats really silly isn’t it?!!!!

Some sickening things to mark down. Yesterday someone msged me this “I didn’t reply u but I should have reply”, well ok dun bother. And a guy friend msged me this “I miss u Jimmy”, followed by a “Muack…”. Today again he msged “Do u miss me too?”… come on I am not against GAYS, but do not get me involved with u people!!! I am 101% so damn NOT interested in gays!!!!! Wats wrong with the world??

Today, my old aunt came 3rd time of the week all the way from Clementi, was very upset and complaining about her daughter. Long long x10… and many stories. She has always been staying alone by herself, years back daughter and son-in-law mentioned about selling her apartment, n she came shivering n told us she was worried to be homeless, etc. So that was when she started to be paranoid. That’s quite a norm since old people are usually more sensitive about all these matters, and tats not trivial as it affects their healths. Following up, months ago daughter stole her $2000 in her room. I used the word “stole” as the daughter just took it without even asking for her permission or informing her, and later claimed to us that her intention was to help her mum to deposit the money into the bank… worried she would lose it, blah blah blah blah! So AGAIN my old aunt was worried and sad tat her money was gone and has been talking about this matter for months too. How about her bank passbook to verify? Oh her daughter again WORRIED she would show to people or lose it so she took it away from her. So recently she came and kept worryin' about her bank passbook, and her money being cheated by her daughter and son-in-law. I called her daughter today and asked her to PLEASE kindly return her the bank passbook for goodness sake. However she was still quite reluntant... still explained her lotsa worriessss!!!! Damn sickening people keep talking about MONEY, just $10k+ left (old aunt claimed her daughter had already withdrawn out alot) and so much to worry. My old aunt’s health is getting really bad, complaining about people trying to steal her apartment, her money, her bank passbook, etc. And the daughter up to this stage still worried about the money!!!!! Is the passbook or money more important than her health?
