Taipei National Palace Museum (國立故宮博物院) is a national art museum of Taiwan, with over 600,000 pieces of ancient chinese artifaces and artworks, making it one of the largest in the world. The collection encompasses over 8,000 years of chinese history from the Neolithic age to the late Qing dynasty. I managed to take some pictures to share with you all. Try to go earlier as it is really crowded after noon and it may take you several hours to visit the entire place. The admission price for each adult in general is NT$160 I think, very reasonable price. To get there, you have to take MRT (Danshui line) to Shilin Station and take a bus R30 from there.
