你这么舍得我难过

Heard this song durin' one of the rehearsals. I really like it... so touchin'.... Dun ask me the origin of the song, i've no idea... i m new to it. =) Chris sent me this link... enjoy it.

Another day in Perth

The day (yesterday) was rather warm... wat i might call an indian summer. I grabbed myself a seat at my favorite cafe as usual, nursed a drink n dabbled at eatin', while the strollers passed me by. I was gettin' so tired fr work... n almost fallen a sleep. Even though i was takin' up a table n really nursin' my drink, the waiter n waitress left me alone, such is one of the joys of Australia... sittin' down in a cafe n nursin' a drink while munchin' on snack food is not seen as a direct threat to the livelihood of the wait staff. I watched the sun disappear behind the nearby buildings while occasionally read fr a book i had brought. Went home pretty early..... my another borin' day in Perth...

She's throwin' tantrums

My notebook computer is throwin' tantrums after a fall n yes it was my fault. Sigh... she doesn't wanna answer me anymore rite now, in defiance of the long hrs i spent with her everyday. I gotta leave her alone for a few days at the service centre... n hopefully she will return in time. I promise i won't let her fall again... =(

My teachin' work as a lecturer starts rather soon... can i still fly around by "shuttle planes"? Hmm... once in one or two week should be fine i guess...

Lonely soul

Weather is pretty gd here, not as humid as I expected. I love this lukewarm weather. But I cldn’t get to sleep at night, I wandered around the streets as best I could. There was no end of loneliness, real utter loneliness which dragged in the pit of my stomach. I cld devote 2 to 3, or more nights a week to sitting in one of my favorite cafes… waitin' for another day to kill itself. I wanna fly back as soon as possible. I miss ya guys badly! :(

Student loan suggestion

I remember some friends were looking for study loans some time ago, especially back in the States and Australia. I came across this website which may help. So before you rule out schools you think are too expensive, consider this.

The amount of financial aid for which you are eligible depends both on your financial situation, and also on the cost of attending college. This means that choosing a lower-priced school isn’t always your best bet. In fact, your ideal school could be well within your reach.

Give yourself a chance! Check these out:

Tokyo disneyland

Tokyo disneyland is jus so fantastic that i can highly recommend a visit, you won't be disappointed. It lies outside the central Tokyo in Urayasu City, nearest railway station is Maihama station. An one day disneyland passport is 5,800 yen (about $70USD or $100SGD). I went on a weekend and it was so crowded that I had to stand in line for half an hour or so for each attraction. You can see the same disney characters, a castle, mountains, and magic performances as at other disneylands.
Have a look......

There are beautiful boutiques around for you to purchase souvenirs and stuff.

Mickey mouse boutique
i got some of these for my friends... they are so cute aren't they?

Mickey mouses...

Marchin' soldiers...

It's a small world... one of my favorites.

There's a boat ride for you to tour in the small world, it's awesome! The children sang and danced to the song "It's a small world" durin' the ride. The song seems to get into every fibre of your brain and take up residence for several days. =)

Takin' pics with the disney character...

The castle...

The Toontown...

The donald's boat which allows you to climb all over and explore type thing.

The Goofy's bounce house which allows you to literally bounce off the walls and even the furniture for a jumpin' good time.

The jolly trolley rides from Mickey Avenue to Downtown Toontown or back on this bobbin', pitchin' trolley. it's fun!!

A disney parade in the afternoon... last about 30 mins.

The pirates of the caribbean has a boat ride too which takes a thrilling voyage back to when pirates ruled the seas and ports. It's one of the best rides I had that day.

Souvenirs...
Takin' pics with the disney character from pirates of the caribbean.

Starjets which allow you to pilot your own rocket high above the Tomorrowland skies. Another one of those fairground roundy-roundy uppy-downy type rides.

Splash mountain which allows you to follow the antics of Brer Rabbit on a hair-raisin' flume adventure with the steepest, highest, wettest drop ever. The queue was really really long, probably the most popular attraction in the whole of Tokyo disneyland.

Mark Twain riverboat which allows you to enjoy a leisurely trip down the rivers of America on a romantic showboat. This is the best way to get great photographs durin' the ride.
Pics taken durin' the ride...

The electrical disney parade in the evenin'... last about 30 mins.

Due to the overwhelmin' attractions and long queues, I did not have time to visit all the attractions. It's worth another visit if I visit Tokyo again.

Tokyo fish market

Tokyo's Tsukiji fish market is best known as one of the world's largest wholesale fish and seafood markets. The sight of the many kinds of fresh fish, shellfish and other seafood and the busy atmosphere of scooters, trucks, sellers and buyers hurryin' around, make Tsukiji fish market one of Tokyo's major tourist attractions. It is located near the Tsukijishijo station on the Toei Oedo line and Tsukiji station on the Tokyo metro Hibiya line. The market opens most mornin' except Sundays and holidays. Remember to go early as most of the shops close by the early afternoon.

HUGEEEE.....

A visit to the Tsukiji market is best combined with a fresh sushi breakfast or lunch at one of the on site restaurants. But the queues for the good restaurants are usually quite long, be patient. =) I queued for half an hour jus to get in the restaurant.
